21 Times "Parks And Recreation" Understood Finals Week

Studying during finals week can be difficult. Many students think they can see the light at the end of the tunnel while other see that same light and realize that it's a train coming full-steam ahead. Whether you are drowning under the stress of finals week or cruising to commencement, Leslie Knope and her friends at the Park's Department understand all that is finals week.

1. The excitement that classes are finally over.

Whether you broke out in a cool dance or did a fist pump of excitement, joy was abundant and overflowing when you thought you were done.

2. Relishing in the moment.

Many of us listened to Donna, enjoying our freedom from the tortures of class.

3. Reading days are restful.

There's nothing to worry about when we have a reading day to relax!

4. "I fell into the pit, you fell into the pit, we all fell into the pit."

Oh yes, we fell into the pit. And hard. We realized that we have to actually do work on reading days.

5. Stressing under the work.

When you start doing work again, you realize how you should have been working earlier.

6. Your mind gives up.

You've done so much work at this point, it's tough enough to just keep your eyes open.

7. Caffeine.

Bless the Lord for this delicacy! Now, let's get back to work.

8. Accept bad eating habits.

You eat what you can, just trying to survive.

9. The first exam.

Was that good? Was it bad? I guess it's just time to wait it out and see what happens.

10. You realize you have to start studying for the next one.

You have to shut everything out and start all over.

11. The process is tedious.

All joy is lost. You went from feeling as if school was over to being overwhelmed with work.

12. Confidence in your work.

Whether you're actually smart or you're Andy Dwyer, confidence is the key to survival.

13. When there's only one more final.

Wow, has time flown by! Before you know it, you only have one more final to take care of, and then break is here. How did that happen?

14. When you step into class to take your last final...

Oh yes, the confidence is high, as you are so close to tasting sweet victory.

14. ...And you realize that it's harder than you thought

Oh yes, you should have studied more. A lot more.

15. You start to remember the material on the exam.

Oh, how exciting! We can actually do this!

16. When you get hit with a tough question.

Well, you didn't see that one coming!

17. You lose all hope.

What is there to do?

18. When you write something just to put down an answer.

Hey, at least you didn't leave any blank.

19. You finish the last question.

Wow, the year is actually over...

20. You turn in your exam.

21. Time to have fun!

Enjoy your summer! Don't think about the fact that it's going to start all over again...

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
