Who can we count on to cheer us up in the midst of finals week stress? Who can best describe a college campus during its last week of the semester? I would say the only logical candidate is Spencer Shay--the master of goofy faces, the gem of Nickelodeon comedy, and the wacky big brother we always wanted. Spencer knows all about the happenings of student life--he attended law school for three days, after all.

1. When you're numb from the hips down after a lengthy study-session

Spend a few hours in the library in the company of a stiff-backed chair and a bony table, and you’ll realize they aren’t designed for cuddling. Do your cramped muscles a favor: enjoy a squat thrust and avoid becoming conjoined twins with your desk chair.

2. When you don't want to dress like a big kid anymore and all you want is play-clothes.

Jeans… Button downs… Straight jacket…Same difference. Watch your fellow classmates as they one by one trade professional wear for pajamas. There’s no one left to impress during finals week.

3. When you try to minister to your stressed out friend and get verbally assaulted

Before speaking, get a good sense of your friend’s current stress level. If you see a natural disaster in her eyes, consider saving your good-intended commentary for a more appropriate time. Like next week.

4. When you respond to someone who is condescending your summer plans

Before you ask people about their plans for the summer, quickly check your motive. No one is looking for someone to shame them about their summer; neither does anyone need to be a glutton for comparing themselves to others.

5. When you decide it's time to finally clean out your fridge

It is this time of year I feel especially sorry for the brave people who take out our garbage. We thank you, ladies and gentlemen, for your courage.

6. When your stress-level compels you to reevaluate your chosen area of study

When we’re in the midst of a battlefield of papers and projects, we often wonder if our labor is worth anything at all. Take a moment to remember what made you fall in love with what you are studying in the first place, then face your work again.

7. When everyone on your hall is especially rambunctious

There is a certain moment between the dedicated studying and the post-exam victories when we join hands with those who share our living space and act a little nutty. "Quiet hour" feels like more of a suggestion.

8. When you approach the utter wreckage that is your half-packed dorm room

Don’t be overwhelmed by the disarray. As long as you keep tabs on your toothbrush and phone charger, you’re golden.

9. When work gets done only because you're bribing yourself with naps

A ten to twenty-minute power nap can work wonders. Find a couch, a hospitable rug, or a fresh bed of grass to relieve some of that eyelid weight.

10. When you realize the seniors actually have to graduate

Don’t get so occupied with your own busyness that you sacrifice time with your graduating friends. Sometimes schoolwork needs to take a backseat to relationships and quality time with the people we will miss.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
