Finals Week As Told By 'Jessica Jones'

It's not as awful as Killgrave, but it's pretty close.

Finals week is upon us and the stress is as real as it gets. Those projects are probably all due the same day and you've got four exams to study for on top of that, right? If your butt is feeling kicked, don't worry. Jessica Jones is right there with you.

1. When somebody offers up coffee as a suggestion to keep you awake

Sleep is nothing but a dream at this point. Coffee isn't just a beverage anymore. It's practically your blood type.

2. It's late at night. You've been stuck in a study room at the library for a couple hours when your friend stumbles across you

Ahh, yes. After being stuck alone in one of the many study rooms that the library has to offer, it's nice to see a friendly face. If they look wide-eyed, you probably look a little bit like Killgrave. Don't take it personally.

3. That moment when your parents are getting worried about you and ask if you've done anything other than study

They've been there, too. They know how high your stress levels are. Nothing can give your mind a break like an episode of your favorite TV show. They might be a little worried you've turned into a hermit, but things could be worse.

4. When you get stuck in the library next to a person who won't stop talking or playing their music obnoxiously loud

Maybe on any other day, you wouldn't mind. You'd be able to shrug it off but this is the worst person to be near when you're deep into notes you've taken all semester. In this case, death glares are totally justified.

5. When your friend reads over that paper you forgot about until the last minute

Trish

Getting caught up in other subjects, only to realize that you have a paper due tomorrow is earth-shattering. Don't worry, though. Hearing the words of affirmation from one of your best friends can give you a pretty big confidence boost.

6. You've started to buckle under the pressure

Jessica Jones

Is it worth getting that degree? Do you really have what it takes to pass that exam? The answer is yes. As for Jessica's question, I'd go with neither, but it probably ends up on the job you're going for.

7. The worst words you could ever hear are:

These aren't words you ever want to hear, but especially during this week. Double especially if you're right on the edge of getting the grade you want.

8. You've prepared for hours, and now it's time to take your final or turn in that project

You could've broken down at the door. You could've snoozed your alarm so much that you missed it. You're there. You're prepared. Now, go do your thing.

9. When you walk out of the final and realize it went exactly like this:

And you killed it! All of those long nights, stressful break downs, and moments of contemplating if you were in the right major are out the window. Go treat yourself to a long nap.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
