Finals week. Oh, finals week.

It's here, and it hurts just as much as last quarter. But if anything has fueled me throughout this quarter, it's Corinne from this season of "The Bachelor." I'll be honest, the show fascinates me on many different levels. Though my opinion of the show varies, I can say honestly that Corinne is pure gold.

On "The Bachelor," Corinne tells it like it is. And I believe we could all use a bit more Corinne in our lives. So Corinne is here to help you get through finals week. Use her as a reminder that you are not alone in this life.

1. When you just can’t. So you don’t.

There's still so much time. It's only Sunday, why worry about it now?

2. When you fall asleep studying….

It happens.

3. And just say screw it.

This is what Spark Notes is for. But also Michael Jordan took naps. Abraham Lincoln took naps.

4. When you realize you have 3 finals on the same day.

And it's a literal shit show because this butt doesn't belong in the swamp. No one deserves this. No one ever.

5. When you have no idea what to study.

The prof couldn't have been less vague. And as you pore over every page of notes you question if it's possible to make a voodoo doll specific to a person.

6. When you finally realize that it’s going to take a miracle.

There's just not enough time. And you just want to go home.

7. You’ve been in the library for days.

Personal hygiene couldn't be less important at a time like this. But you can see people staring because you have become a big, scary swamp monster.

9. When your friends all leave, but your last final is on Friday.

They don't care. So you're left alone in the depths of despair, and you feel like your heart is like, literally, like never going to be repaired.

10. When you two days ago screwed over current you.

How did Abe do it? You don't want to be studying; you want to be in a spa, being fed a nice taco. Preferably...chicken.

11. So you take extra cookies at the dining hall.

You'll work them all off after finals are over. Plus, your brain is probably doing enough working out as it is.

12. When you’re up until 3 for your 8 am final and you actually cannot function.

13. But you finally feel prepared.

Dear Diary: Today I feel like Corinne is far from an idiot, and I feel like a pathetic loser for judging her. Period.

14. When you turn in your exam to the prof and leave the room before the know-it-all you sit next to.

XOXO, Gossip Girl.

15. When you just know you kicked ass.

It feels so good because you love the taste of victory.

16. And you can finally go home.

It's over. Hallelujah. You can finally say "I'm done. I want to go to sleep."

Good luck with finals everyone! If Corinne can do it, you can do it!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
