With season six of "Game of Thrones" having begun just last week and finals creeping up, many college students have a reasonable amount of anxiety slowly consuming them. Not only do you have to worry about passing your classes, but now you're also going to be constantly biting your nails over your favorite character who, let's face it, will probably die.

Why not just combine the two? If you're going to be a ball of stress, the causes might as well all be in the same article. To be honest, it's almost scary how well "Game of Thrones" matches up with finals week.

1. When your friends ask if you've started that major final paper

2. Learning you have three finals on the same day

3. When your professor hits you with new information the week before the final

4. Avoiding all thoughts of those three papers and four exams you have in a week...

5. ...and then learning that your friend only has two finals

6. Showing up to every exam in sweatpants

7. When your professor says they expect a 90 or above from everyone

8. When your professor assigns a 12-page paper on top of your final exam

9. Discovering the night before that you are completely, without a doubt, unprepared for this final

10. Acing your first final, and then realizing you still have five others to take

11. Realizing you're probably going to have to drop out of school because of your GPA

12. When it's too late to drop that class that you really should have

Really, though, finals week may be upon us, and you may feel completely unprepared, but college students are basically made to handle this. All those late-night Netflix marathons and incredible coffee consumption is really just practice for the hell that is the last week of the semester. Besides, we're all basically Tyrion Lannister, anyway.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
