It is that time of the year again. It is approaching; it is right around the corner. The week that teachers love most is here. A solid five days full of nothing but headaches, crying, and empty wine bottles. Five whole days of nothing but misery. The only thing standing between students and summer. It is finals week.
1. When the professor happily announces that finals begin next week.
2. The look you give your friends when they try to convince you that going out on Dead Day Eve is a good idea.
3. When your friends just will not take "no" for an answer.
4. How you feel when the fifth shot of tequila hits you and you forget that you have exams the rest of the week.
5. Waking up post Dead Day Eve and realizing how much studying you have to do.
6. Looking over your Powerpoint slides from lecture and not understanding why you failed to take better notes.
7. When your study partner starts to cry in the library.
8. Preparing to walk into your first exam while the teacher unlocks the door.
9. Looking at the first question on the exam like:
10. Seeking help from the big man upstairs, because you obviously are not going to survive this:
11. When the person you studied with makes eye contact with you during the exam.
12. Flipping to the next page on the test and seeing the eighth select all that apply question.
13. Walking out of the exam thinking that you were set up to fail all along.
14. When your classmate asks you how you think you did.
15. Preparing to look at your final grades online.
16. When you look at your grades and realize you passed all your exams.
