Finals Week As Told By 'The Kardashians'

Finals week is the absolute WORST time of the semester! Studying for multiple exams, writing final papers, and trying to contain your excitement for winter break makes it extremely difficult to stay focused and motivated.

The Kardashians are definitely the most dramatic people I could think of, and that's why they're the best ones to explain finals week!

When your professor says that you should've started studying weeks ago

You finally decide to look at what topics are on the exam and realize that you're extremely behind

Then a different professor says that their final is cumulative

You finally decide to go to office hours during the last week of classes to ask all of the questions you didn't ask during the semester

During the last class, your professor plays games with you about what's going to be on the exam

Of course, you also get assigned a 12-page paper

It's the Sunday before finals week and the stress finally hits you

Of course, that one guy walks into the exam and brags about how much he knows

And then he talks about all of the hints the professor gave him for the test

You look at the first question on the exam and don't know how to do the problem

Of course, you turn in the exam and then immediately regret every answer you put down

Finals are over! Where's the wine?

Final grades are posted... somehow you manage to pass the class AND fail the final

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
