As a little girl, I've always imagined growing up and going to college. I thought about having a great time in college and eventually graduating. That day seemed so far away back then and now I'm in my senior year of college, about to take my final semester classes. I remember like it was yesterday, getting accepted into the University of North Carolina at Pembroke and driving to the school to start my new adventure. Now it's coming to an end in a blink of an eye. Going through my final couple of months at school, I will not take anything for granted and make my last year a memorable one.

1) It's my final semester in college and I am shocked.

2) It's already been four years since I enrolled at UNC Pembroke and the time has come for me to graduate in May.

3) I'm excited for what my future holds and where I will end up in this crazy world. However, to get there it won't be easy, but I am up for the challenge. The only thing I need to do is...

4) Even when I am relaxed, doubt will eventually find its way into my body. At that point, I just have to push myself through it and know that the stress will be worth the outcome. And if that still doesn't work I'll just remember to...

5) and if that still doesn't work I will always live by my mother's words and know that...

6) After a few weeks into the semester and I feel like it's going to be okay, I will feel like I can conquer anything and everything, I realize that....

7) I don't feel stressed and it's smooth sailing from there. However, midterms will kick in and then before you know it, it's finals week and I'm feeling like...

8) and I imagine the rest of the semester going a little something like this....

9) But once I get through finals week and I finally have passed my exams, when May 6th comes around I will say...

10) The day I graduate and look at my diploma and say...

11) because I have earned it and worked hard to obtain what I spent four years in college for. Likewise, when I finally walk across the stage on May 6th and the following day I will say to myself.

The answer will be: now it's time to look for a job and start my life after college.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Whether you're commuting or dorming, your first year of college is a huge adjustment. Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
