Too many people seem caught up in being "the perfect size." For years, I was one of those people. Everywhere I go, nine times out of ten, everyone else near by is a lot thinner than me, even in my thinner days. I used to hate my body and wish that it was just like everyone else's.

That was until I surrounded myself with positive, accepting people. Then I realized that being bigger is okay. I'm 6' 3'', so naturally I'm going to be a bigger person. Even if I wasn't, my body is my business, not anybody else's.

Body acceptance can be hard to obtain, but it's all about your mindset. Here are some thoughts that can hopefully give you a more positive outlook on your bigger body and help kiss your days of negative body image goodbye.

1.Your body is made up of deliciousness.

You are what you eat, that's what they say any way. You know what this means? It means the more ice cream and potatoes you eat, the more awesome you are. Let's break this down: Everyone loves french fries, right? Well, that means, if you are what you eat, you are now the equivalent of french fries. Since you and french fries are equals, that means in turn, everyone loves you, too!

2.Less Hangry

Being hangry is a bad time for all involved. People with smaller bodies are more likely eat less junk food, and smaller portions altogether. Because they eat less at a time, they're more likely to be hangry sooner. Even if that's not the case, sometimes my hanger doesn't subside until I've eaten that one thing that truly hits the spot. More often than not, the thing that really satisfies my appetite is something that's far from healthy, but makes my tummy happy anyway.

3. Food

Not only is hanger easier to fight, but you'll also never have to deny yourself one of life's greatest pleasures: food. If you're not caught up with watching your figure, you won't have any reason to feel guilty about eating that ice cream cone. You know how many times ice cream has helped turned my day from awful to wonderful? Too many to count. It's amazing how quickly happy taste buds can turn your frown upside down. What do you always find at parties? Food. Food is meant to make people happy, I say we don't let it waste its potential.

4. More room for cuddly pets

If there's one bonus that comes with having larger thighs, it's definitely being able to hold all of your fluffy friends at one time. It's nice to know that I can just sit on the couch and have both my cat and dog cuddled up on me comfortably.

Hopefully now if you don't have the body you've always wanted, you can start to see that it's not the end of the world. Thin bodies are nice, but larger bodies have their perks too.

I say it's time to stop focusing on appearances and just start enjoying life. Go out, have an ice cream, and surround yourself with kind people. It doesn't matter what you look like, it just matters that you're enjoying yourself.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
