Everyone who has allergies knows the struggle that comes with them. You’re so excited that winter is finally over but when you see that first shed of green, you realize that the wrath of spring is quickly approaching. You’re not sure what you dread more, the itchy, watery eyes or the fact that you simply can’t join your friends on the lawn for an afternoon of tanning.

So, enjoy the struggles of allergies told through some of the epic scenes from Harry Potter because no one understands a struggle like this one more than the witches and wizards from Harry Potter.

1. The moment when you see the first shed of green.

3. The first morning you wake up after the tree outside your house blooms.

4. When you can't stop sneezing.

5. When you're eyes have been itching and watering nonstop for the past week so it looks like you're either an emotional wreck or you're high - hey it's that time of the semester.

6. It's the middle of the night and you're so tired of coughing so you try to hold your breath.

7. You run to the store to buy cough drops and you end up dropping $30 and realize that you can open your own pharmacy now.

8. When you're too tired after the store run, you just chug a little bit of everything and hope you wake up in the morning.

9. You wake up in the morning. Damn.

10. People begin to ask "Wait, are you sick?"

11. You're so tired that you can't remember if you put your contacts in or if your eyes are just so swollen that you can't see clearly.

12. That one morning you can actually sleep in but you're woken up by phlegm getting caught in the back of your throat and you actually think your time has come.

13. When people talk about how nice it is outside.

14. If the wind is blowing, it's a no.

15. When it finally rains.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
