12:00 - Wilbur H. E.

Delightful as ever, unfortunately not much progress has been made. It still amazes me how he's been through hell and back, yet he's still as selfless as he is, and keeps that faith of his. It could be that I'm a "gentile" as he calls it, but I could never understand faith. He talked about his wife, his daughters, both the live one, and the one that died young, but not himself, as usual. Even asked how I and my own daughter were doing. Perhaps he sees his own issues as unimportant.

Was happy to see me, and had a lot to say about her life. Her young son is starting university, and her work as a seamstress is going well. I have to admit, she's improved the most out of every patient I've had in a shorter amount of time than expected. On her first visit, she was incredibly shaken up about the war, classic PTSD combined with grief, though she'd never been on the ... Her husband had left to fight, but died in action, leaving her and their young son behind. I wasn't sure how she'd take to sharing her problems with a pro, and one from the city no less. Perhaps she opened up to me because in a way.... I know what she's going through.

2:00 - Hiram D. F.

Referred to me by his daughter, he had mostly talked about his "fall from grace". It's happened to most of us, fall from "old money", more like. Brace for reminiscence about the high life. As if I don't know, and haven't heard the same story from the less damaged.

4:00 - Cate A. T.

Honestly, I hesitated writing that name down. Upon the first meeting, I knew. I know that's not her name. I'm surprised she even came to me, since Fievel very likely told her to stay away from me. Even now, after all these years, he still holds that grudge when I'd told him over and over that I'd better face the firing squad myself than hurt her. Classic scenario of displacement. However, as she's here now, maybe that'll stop. This time, however... She knows nothing. Nothing of what happened that is. She still seems to know me, but not by name. My voice, and face (How in the world did she remember it so distinctly if she went blind?), she recalled and seemed more than comforted immediately. She never said anything outright, but I'm certain it's her. Older yes, and gracefully so. Is life so cruel? Nearly eighteen years of nothing, and she only now chooses to walk back into my life? And she chose to at all after what she's done? Yet... Despite that, why is it that my name still sounds so much better when she says it? Why did my heart still skip a beat when she went into one of her vivacious rambles? Why do I still long for her?

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
