1. "It's not college, it's Coastal."

I hear this all the time, and I'm still not sure what it's supposed to mean.


2. "I live where you vacation."

This quote can be found on people's bios on Twitter or Instagram and has no doubt been repeated thousands of times.


3. "Bobby Gale's Myrtle Beach Chrysler Jeep, we're gonna win you over."

Honestly this one is just a classic radio ad that called to be included here.


4. Calling Myrtle Beach "Dirty Myrtle."

I internally sigh whenever anyone calls Myrtle Beach this.


5. This one isn't something you've necessarily heard, but seen PLENTY of times; those "Salt Life" stickers.

I've seen these on almost every truck, SUV, and convertible at the beach.


6. Introducing where you're from to someone, for example saying you're from Conway or Loris, and instead having to explain you're from Myrtle Beach because they have no idea where those areas are.

This one is self-explanatory.
