In honor of Mother's Day, I think it is important to go over some reasons why I love my mom and to remind her how much she is truly appreciated!!! HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO ALL OF THE MOMS/MOTHER FIGURES IN OUR LIVES!

1) My mom is my best friend

I can tell my mom literally anything... Well, almost anything... (just kidding mom!) Anytime I have a problem, I know I can go for her for honest advice and feedback because I know that she wants what is best for me, all the time!


2) She is my personal caregiver

Whenever I am sick, I can count on my mom to take care of me and be my personal nurse! Even when I am not at home, I call her when I'm sick just to try and figure out what I should do, since I do not have her motherly instinct...


3) Those motherly instincts

I am pretty sure all moms pull out their motherly instincts, and usually they are taken for granted, but the more I think about it, the more I can appreciate them! Do you know how many times I could have gone through the windshield if you didn't throw your arm out in front of me in the car?

4) Helps me with "girl problems"

There are certain things that I just cannot go to dad for, and I know that you are going to be able to honestly answer my question because the odds are, you have probably gone through the same thing, and I seem to forget that a lot!

5) You are THE BEST COOK IN THE WORLD

Only one person could beat your cooking (grandma), but I never have appreciated your home cooking so much, especially when I am away at college! You make the best food, and even if it isn't my favorite, it is still good!


6) Your unique sense of humor

All moms have that super corny humor, but it actually makes me laugh more and more as time goes on. It might not make everyone laugh, but trust me, I know that I can count on you whenever I need to laugh!


7) You put up with me (and I put up with you ;])

I know I can be a lot to handle sometimes! But... it goes both ways mom! I have learned a lot from you! So whenever you say that I am bothering you, just remember, I probably learned it from you, and you probably did the same thing to your mom!


8) You RAISED Me

I would literally not be where/who I am today if it was not for you! You have spent all of these many years raising me, and I know that it was not easy all the time (sorry lol), but you still fought with me, and we have really come a long way!

9) YOU HAVE THE BEST DAUGHTER

Where would you be without me? I'm just kidding! But we have really grown together, and I would not want anyone else as my mom! Thank you for being you, because without you, I would not be the person I am right now!
