I love everything about fall, the weather, the shopping, and mostly the shopping. I like being able to add multiple pieces to an outfit and being able to dress something up and down more so than you are able to do during the warmer months. I like the food, the weather and the way people like to gather during fall. So I thought I would show a few of my favorite fall trends for 2016 and going towards the colder winter months!

Velvet:

Velvet is one of my favorite fall trends simply because I think it makes everything look nicer. I think velvet is so versatile and you can dress it up or down and mix it with anything like a velvet choker, a bag or velvet sneakers.

PC:Superga

Fall Colors:

Colors like burgundy, mustard, copper and any type of burnt orange really just don't work in any other setting, fall is where they belong. These colors contrast well with the outdoors and are simply a reflection of nature and all the things we love during fall, they make me think of thanksgiving and who doesn't love that?

Bomber Jackets:

If you know me you know I have a very large obsession with bomber jackets, they are my impulse buy each and every time I enter a store. Lucky for me bomber jackets and letterman jackets are everywhere right now, you can find them for toddlers, men and women. They're fun and versatile and can grow with the seasons. I personally think a bomber fits any occasion and they look great with jeans and a dress, its all about how you wear it.

PC:Free People

This bomber combines two of the best trends this season, a velvety fabric with shine and a bomber, what more could you want?

Embroidery and Lace:

Embroidery is something that makes a plain jacket or a plain pair of pants just a little more special and I think it adds a lot to an outfit. Another item, that something that you are seeing a lot of this season is lace. People are using lace and bringing it from slips into dresses and bodysuits and I think the trend is here to stay.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
