6 Top Trends for Spring 2016
Vogue

I am so over this cold Cali weather. I am ready to dust off all of my spring clothing, aren't you? This spring you will see a lot of lovely trends hitting the sales floor of your favorite stores.

Here are 6 of the best trends for the upcoming Spring 2016 season:

1. Romanticism:

The Romanticism trend is very elegant and lacy, and it will take you back to the 1800's in Europe. Floral prints with lace lining will make you feel and look elegantly chic! Every day will be like you're seeking a date in the secret garden.

2. Sports Luxe:

The sporty, tailored trend will be another look making an impact this Spring. These one/two-piece separates will be perfectly comfortable to wear, while also being super chic for a cute dinner date or a night on the town.

3. Preppy Nautical:

This trend seems to make it into the Spring trends often. Hampton beach vibe clothing is seen a lot at J. Crew, Vineyard Vines, and Banana Republic during the Spring time.

4. Sleeveless Coats:

This trend has been going on since Fall 2015 and seems to be continuing onto Spring 2016. It is great for business attire workdays. With easygoing fabrics and pastel colors, I see how this outerwear will be making big buzz this Spring.

5. The T-Shirt Dress:

You will see the t-shirt dress a lot this Spring season. It is perfect for a casual day out, but can also be dressed up for a night on the town. The easy going fabrics, neutral colors, and loose materials hint at the fact that Spring seems to all about comfort this season.

6. A-Line Skirts:

The A-line skirt is a Spring favorite. You can dress them up or down. They are a Spring must-have that makes every girl look and feel pretty.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
