I have come to realize just how important family really is and that when they say cherish the time that you have with your loved ones, they are not lying.

To My Family,

I have come to realize just how important family really is and that when they say cherish the time that you have with your loved ones, they are not lying. Not only are they the ones that are always there for us but they also help guide us as we learn and grow. I am blessed to be able to call you my family.

Thank you for being you. Without you all I would not be half the woman that I am today, I would truly be lost. Thank you for being there for me no matter what; knowing that I have such an amazing support system helps me get through difficult situations. Thank you for pushing me out of my comfort zone because this has helped me to realize that it is OKAY to fail, because failure is a part of life and it helps you become a stronger person.

I only hope that I can grow up and be given the opportunity to have half the impact on others as you have had on me. I do not think that I can thank you all enough for everything that you have instilled in my life. You have given me the knowledge to make decisions that will benefit me, you have shown me what love truly is through your relationships and marriages, and most importantly you have given me yourself. As individuals, we are a puzzle piece but when we are put together we are something amazing, a family.

We joke, we laugh and recently we cry together. You are my biggest supporters and I want you to know that I am your number one fan. Simply put, you all rock!

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
