It's never too early to be excited about the things you're happy about the most.

With the passing of Labor Day Weekend and the start of school, September is now in full swing. Pumpkin spice has hit the stores and Halloween is only a few weeks away! Although the internet is cursing those who are excited about fall coming, many of us won't let others distract us from the enjoyment that fall brings us! Pumpkin spice, flannels, and most importantly, cooler weather after this horribly hot summer. Fall is the best time of the year because there are so many things to look forward to, like...

Cool weather

Let's face it: Summer was fun but it was hot and it's time to look forward to waking up to 60 and 70-degree weather instead of the sourcing 90's we've dealt with for the last few months. It's time for jeans and light jackets instead of shorts and tank tops! Even if you aren't done with summer, let us fall lovers start dressing for the cool weather in our flannels because the upcoming weather will be perfect for...

Hiking

Want to go for a walk without dying in the burning heat? Maybe take your dog for a walk without the risk of burning their little paws on the sidewalk or even heatstroke? The cool weather will bring prime walking and hiking weather. You'll finally be able to walk outside longer than 5 minutes without soaking the shirt on your back in sweat. A great time for exercise and...

The changing leaves

One of the best things about fall is walking around and having the leaves fall around you in their beautiful orange, red, and yellow colors. Whether you're going to class, work, or just walking around, you'll get a front view of the most beautiful seasons we get.

Pumpkin spice

That's right! One of the best parts of fall, already hitting stores and your favorite coffee shops, pumpkin spice! Pumpkin spice lattes, hot coffee, cold coffee, donuts, cookies, muffins, and much much more. Although not everything should be converted to a pumpkin spice flavor, stopping by Starbucks to pick up a pumpkin spice latte will never be a mistake.

Halloween

The best holiday around! Candy, costumes, pumpkin carving, haunted houses, and Hocus Pocus. Halloween is only weeks away and some of us are ready to grab a costume, collect some candy, and get hella spooky.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
