Fall is the most wonderful time of year, and one of the best parts of fall is the warm, inviting scents that it brings. I mean, who doesn't love the smell of pumpkins and campfires? Sometimes, it can be hard to find those iconic smells which is why I've compiled a list of candles from the one and only Bath and Body Works that will get you in the mood for the greatest season of all.

1: Marshmallow Fireside

I can personally say that this scent changed my life. It's a wonderful combination of sweet from the marshmallow, but also some toasty notes from the campfire. Not to mention, it will instantly transport you to any sort of camping you did as a child and make the memory approximately 1000 times better. The memory of your dad almost setting the tent on fire is replaced with cozy feelings of being bundled around a campfire looking at the stars. Seriously, this scent will change your life and boost your fall season to the next level.

2: Welcome Home

This scent is just a fun one! I mean, what more do you need than a welcome home? Especially in a season that is riddled with stressful activities like applying for college, midterms, and everything in between. This candle is the equivalent of a warm hug from the grandmother you never knew you needed. With its apple and cinnamon notes, you'll be convinced there is an apple pie in your oven waiting for you to eat.

3: Flannel

This is the edgiest of the scents on the list, but I really enjoy it when I need a break from the sweeter fragrances. The best way to describe this candle is that one guy in your high school who hung out with the popular kids but was always a little on the outside because at his core he was really down to earth. This candle is how I imagined that guy smelled because he was still a cool dude but he had a softer side to him. Flannel definitely has some musky tones, but it doesn't overpower the other key component of fresh bergamot. This fragrance is also good if you want to pretend that you have a man in your life, but you're actually forever alone :)

4: Cinnamon Irish Cream

This candle is very cinnamon forward, in fact, you could probably keep this candle around for Christmas. Two for one is always a good deal in my eyes! It has also been described on TikTok as how Fred Weasley would smell for better or for worse. Truly, this candle reminds me of distant relatives that you only get to see maybe once a year, and you only go to their house every other time, but you can always remember how it smells because your aunt's house has a distinct smell. That distinct smell is actually Cinnamon Irish Cream. It has the good vibes that the fall holidays bring and will never fail to bring up childhood memories.

5: Sweater Weather

I love this scent so much that I wear it every day as a lotion and body mist. It is the perfect balance of woodsy and sweet. The notes on it are apple and orchard wood, which arouse warm and toasty feelings. I am adamant about not smelling like a pastry on the day today, and this fragrance guarantees I still smell nice without being overpowering. It makes me want to take a long walk in the woods near sunset and just look at how beautiful the earth is. If you want to live your best fall life, you need this scent!

Well, I hope that you give one or all of these scents a try! This is not sponsored by Bath and Body Works in anyway, I just really enjoy their fragrances, and the feelings they stir up inside. Happy fall, and happy candle lighting!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
