FabFitFun Spring 2016 Unboxing & Review
My Subscription Addiction

FabFitFun is a quarterly subscription service that sends a box to your house every season. This box costs $49.99, and each box will have AT LEAST $200 worth of full-size products in the box. The full-size product deal is something that makes FabFitFun stand out because most subscription boxes only give you sample sizes. This box started in the spring 2013 and was founded by Giuliana Rancic! Each season you will get an array of beauty, fitness and health items, and the box the items come in each month is super cute!

I will be doing an unboxing and review of the Spring 2016 box... HERE WE GO!

1. The first thing that I grabbed from the box was not an item, but a pamphlet. I really enjoyed the whole concept of the pamphlet. It featured an organization called "I Am That Girl," which helps girls love, express and be exactly who they are. The pamphlet gives you an opportunity to donate money to continue the organization's causes. The front of the card was my favorite, and I have hung it up on my mirror to give me a daily reminder to be that girl!

2. The second item I grabbed out of the box was a $25 gift card (yes, you read that right, $25!), and it was for a website called www.31bits.com. This site sells handmade jewelry from artisans in Uganda who are earning an income and receiving an education! I love that! I toured the website and found the jewelry is expensive, but with the gift card, you can get a piece of jewelry for about $12, which isn't too bad.

3. The third item that I grabbed was ANOTHER gift card for $30 to a website called www.sterlingforever.com. This website was also kind of expensive, but with the $30 gift card you can still get a piece of jewelry for fairly cheap!

4. The fourth item that I grabbed was a bottle of argan and heat oil therapy. The brand is Marrakesh, and the bottle can help improve your hair's health and will provide you with silky smooth hair and a frizz-free glossy shine. The product has a very good smell to it as well! This bottle retails for $22.91.

5. The fifth item that I grabbed was a colorful package, and it was keratin gloves and socks by Bodipure. They are a waterless, all-in-one hand and foot treatment that strengthens nails and moisturizes skin with the benefits of keratin. Can't wait to try these! The package retails for $9.98.

6. The sixth item that I grabbed was a bottle of lotion. It is from a brand called HelloLegs, and the lotion and is supposed to make your shaving experience more pleasant. The lotion smells really good, and retails for $19.95 (seems really expensive to me for the size of the bottle).

7. The seventh item that I grabbed was a box of... BATH BOMBS! I love bath bombs, so this is really exciting to me! The box gave us three, and they are the brand jus D'Amour. The first bath bomb has a combined smell of jasmine, rose and sandalwood. The second is lavender, chamomile and ylang ylang. The third is eucalyptus, peppermint and lime. They smell like a typical bath bomb. The packaging was super cute, so that's a plus too! The bath bombs retail for $28.00.

8. The eighth item I pulled out of the box was a Mat Strap Plus from Merrithew. You can use this as a resistance cord for strength training or you can use it to carry your yoga mat (how neat)! This will for sure be getting some use! This retails for $14.99!

9. The ninth item I pulled out of the box... Yes, there is still more items... was an ISH contouring kit in the shade light/medium. I swatched the colors on my hand and my absolute favorite was the highlighter. Talk about the shimmer! I absolutely love this item, and I'm super glad it came in the box! The contouring kit retails for $32.00.

10. The tenth item I pulled out of the box was my second favorite thing in the whole entire box, and it was an herb garden by the brand MakersKit. It provided you with the soil, plastic pots, seeds and a container (which was super cute, by the way) to hold your pots in. I immediately went and put my kit together, so hopefully I will have basil, thyme and mint growing in no time! Something that I loved about this kit is that every purchase of a kit off their site, www.makerskit.com, equals a school supply donated to public schools! This kit retails for $35.00.

11. The last and final item that was in the box and it was by far my favorite item, was a gold bar necklace that said Love. Each box can either contain a necklace that says, Love, Happy, Inspire or Dream. I absolutely love this necklace and it is so cute! It is a Tag Necklace by Jook & Nona, and it is made of 18k gold-plated stainless steel. This necklace retails for $65! (What a steal!)

All in all, this was a great box! It surpassed the price of $49.99 with a total retail price of $282.91! I really enjoy this subscription box because of the charitable aspect of it. Many of the items that are purchased help a charity or an organization. What a great thing! I also love the pamphlet you get in each box giving an overview of the products and other little articles about the products in the box. I will continue to subscribe to FabFitFun. If you're interested in subscribing, just head on over to www.fabfitfun.com and get yourself a box and get $10 off with my coupon code: ODYSSEY.

Favorite Item of the Spring 2016 box: Jook & Nona necklace.

Least Favorite Item of the Spring 2016 box: HelloLegs lotion.

Have a great day and remember to spread kindness and let happiness bloom!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

The Importance Of Being A Good Person

An open letter to the good-hearted people.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
