Fab Fit Fun: Love it or Leave it?

I have been using my Fab Fit Fun box products for a little over a month now and I’m utterly obsessed and can’t wait for the next one. I was gifted the box for Christmas and its absolutely my favorite one. I’m always the one that wants great skin care and makeup but don’t know what products to try. I couldn’t be happier with all the products that came in my winter box. I’ve decided to discuss a few of my favorite products that came in the box and why I love them, as well as the ones that were just “eh”.

O.R.G. Skincare Mineral Face Peel

  • This face peel is everything and more that you could want for skin care. This is easily my favorite thing I received in the winter box. The mineral face peel just sprays on your face and you rub it in and then somehow you feel what seems like dead skin just peel and rub off your face. It’s like magic. There’s no abrasive exfoliants yet I feel it exfoliates my face better than anything else I’ve tried. It retails at $44 but through the Fab Fit Fun box you can get it for $19. The product is said to “keeping our face looking vibrant through winter is this all-natural enzyme exfoliant with brightening agents” and I believe it truly does.

Marrakesh Oil: Argan and Hemp Oil Therapy

  • My older sister is a hair stylist so I’m always willing to find new hair products. I’ve always just used leave-in conditioners but after using this oil I will never stop. I have naturally straight hair but it always frizzed on the bottom, not that big of a deal but kind of annoying. Now I put the oil on the ends of my hair after I’ve towel dried my hair and when I let my hair air dry there is no friz and it smells amazing. This product retails at $22.99 but you can get it with Fab Fit Fun for $14. The product description is “The magical stuff leaves your tresses feeling silky smooth with a healthy, frizz free, glossy shine!”, they were spot on. Not to mention I’ve been using mine since December and there’s barely a quarter gone.

Anderson Lilley Body Cream

  • Lotion is lotion in my opinion; I’ve always just picked the smell I like. After getting this body cream I now understand the differences. This lotion literally makes your hands feel velvety soft. It retails at $24 but you can get it with Fab Fit Fun for $16.

Some of the other products included a Good Morning Gorgeous travel coffee mug, a gold necklace, a super comfortable infinity scarf, and a very smooth lip gloss. None of the products disappointed me except for one. The only one that wasn’t my favorite was the nail polish that came, which was the Zora but that’s not saying much because I’m more of a gel polish fan anyways. Overall I really liked the box and am counting down the days until the next one comes in!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Whether you met your new love interest online, through mutual friends, or another way entirely, you'll definitely want to know what you're getting into. I mean, really, what's the point in entering a relationship with someone if you don't know whether or not you're compatible on a very basic level?

Consider these 21 questions to ask in the talking stage when getting to know that new guy or girl you just started talking to:

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
