After a long, cold and depressing winter this year, I decided to spend my summer going on personal adventures. Whether it be with friends, strangers, or even by myself, the idea is the same; to find the most interesting places in the country and just go, get lost, have fun, and see the sights. This week my adventure took me to Bushkill Falls, located in Bushkill, Pennsylvania.
Bushkill Falls is a scenic area located in the woods of the Pocono Mountains, where a series of trails runs along eight distinct waterfalls which run into a river located at the base of the mountain, and was one of the most visually stunning places I've ever been to.
I traveled on my own for this trip, which gave me a great opportunity to spend some time alone in the woods, taking photos, and getting myself lost for hours. Here are some photos I took of my trip
Seen here is one of the 8 waterfalls, named Bridesmaid's Falls. It runs down a shady cliffside which gives off a cool mist which was much needed on the hot trail.
Here's a section of the river as seen on a cliffside above.
Another photo of the river, this time from right next to it.
The wooded trail, which was quiet and extremely relaxing.
The deep woods, where it was really easy to get lost.
