Health Science is a mixture of health care and science material.

followed by the remark of; "So... what are you doing with your life?"

which is understandable because people do not understand what Health

Sciences is. I am blessed to have family members with many different

medical occupations. I of course look up to my family members and

would hope to be as successful as they are. Unfortunately I am not

completely certain how I would like to contribute to the medical world

just yet and that is alright because instead of being undecided I at

least have my foot in the door within the medical field.

I chose to be a Health Science major to help me look through all

different aspects of the medical field as I take a mixture of different

science classes. I enjoy being a Health Science major because I get

to create my own original path to any part of the medical field I

inspire to pursue. Since Health Science is a new and general major,

there are endless possibilities of occupations to encounter. There is

unfortunately a couple cons with taking on this major. Since Health

Science is a new type of degree, others may not be aware of what

your major represents. Also I find it difficult, but not impossible to

find a good paying job with just a Health Science degree, so I

recommend others to look into additional schooling like myself. When

looking into additional schooling such as medical school for example,

you should look at what courses the school of your choice wants you

take in order to apply. This is because as a Health Science major you

can fill those requirements while also checking off your own

undergraduate graduation requirements.
