It has been said by many that there is good in everyone. It is hard to remember that sometimes when you turn on the news and there has been another shooting, or you see a post on social media attacking a whole group of people for their political or religious beliefs. With that said, I firmly believe that in everyone, there is something good. Evil may be louder, but love is stronger. To prove my point, I want to share some good points about people typically regarded as evil...
Hitler
Hitler was the proud father of a sheepdog named Blondi. It has been reported that he treated her very affectionately, and seemed to love her very much.
John Wayne Gacy
Gacy was known to be a devout Catholic, and generous man. It is also widely known that for some time he worked as a clown, performing for children's birthday parties.
Lizzie Borden
Lizzie Borden loved animals and donated large sums of money to her local animal shelter. Thanks to a trust fund she set up before she died, the animal shelter still receives proceeds from her long after her death.
Osama Bin Laden
According to several sources, Osama Bin Laden enjoyed writing poetry.
By no means to I condone any of the evil these four people were involved in. I think it is rather eye-opening, however, to think about how maybe even the most cruel people started out their lives with good intentions.
