There is really nothing better than a fun night out with the girls, but there's a lot more that goes into those nights than the Snapchats and the Instagrams let on. Here's what you can assume will happen every single time you and your friends plan a night out.
1. Trying to coordinate plans in your group message is way harder than your Chemistry final.
It will probably take you at least five hours to figure out what you're doing that night because by the time you think you've all reached an agreement, the girl who just got out of class chimes in and you're back to square one.
2. Figuring out what to wear is basically an Olympic event.
It looks like a tornado ripped through your closet and also your roommate's closet and also all of your friend's closets. Because when you say you have nothing to wear, you really mean that not a single one of the tops you own looks good on you right now.
3. If you all decide you're going to get ready together, you cart all your stuff to your friend's room before you realize you forgot your eyelash curler and deodorant.
You don't realize how high maintenance you are until you and five other girls try to get ready in the same room at the same time. It's inevitable that you'll forget something really important, but that's what friends are for. Getting ready with that many other girls means your beauty collection just got five times as large, so you never have to worry about finding the perfect lipgloss or forgetting your perfume ever again.
4. And "getting ready" takes approximately two hours because you get distracted by your bomb pregame playlist.
You just can't help yourselves but to take a quick dance break when "One Dance" comes on.
5. Taking pictures.
It's basically a requirement. When you're all dressed up and look this good you need pictures to document it. And if someone has a tapestry to take the pictures in front of, all the better.
6. The only thing more complicated than making plans for the night is deciding who's going to call the Uber.
You can count on a solid twenty minutes at least of asking "So who's calling the Uber?" before someone actually does.
7. Watching the countdown on the arrival of your Uber and trying to get your friends out the door all together.
It's kind of like a mother trying to control her screaming toddlers and get them in the car without falling and hurting themselves or each other. Actually, it's exactly like that, except more stressful, because you're trying to beat the clock of when your ride will get there. Somehow, though, you always manage to pull yourselves together.
