To most people, Lehighton is a little, insignificant blip on the map. But to those who live there, it is much more than its size. It’s a unique town filled with rich history and strange oddities. Here are few things that all people from Lehighton can relate to
1. Your favorite pizza shop is based on which area you live in.
Franklin has Mario’s, East Penn has Lorenzo’s, town has Alfie’s, etc.
2. You hate the tourists.
Sure they bring a ton of money to the area, but they’re still super annoying.
3. Fridays in fall are spent cheering on our high school football team.
Yeah we’re a football town it’s what we do.
4. You can probably name everyone in your graduating class
There weren’t that many people so it wasn’t hard.

You might be 5th cousins twice removed but you’re still cousins.

“Gimmie zimmie"

I swear it's a real place.

No one has ever counted, but it's highly likely.
