I’ve recently came across a couple “College Freshman Thoughts,” articles on Facebook and Pinterest and really enjoyed reading them (because they were so true.) While some thoughts were true, some were totally the opposite of what I was thinking. I thought “I can definitely make a better one than this,” so here I am. Here are 40 things college freshman do, think and say:
1. *Falls asleep in class at least once a week*
2. *Leans on tapestry and freaks out because you're scared the tack is going to fall out and hit you*
3. *Tack falls out and its you :(*
4. *Notices that you're going to be 20 minutes early for class so you sit on T-Lawn to watch Netflix to pass the time away *
5. *Sprints to class because you lost track of time*
6. *Nonchalantly passes group of hot guys*
7. *Right after they pass you, you give your roommate that "OMG HE WAS SO HOT" look*
8. *Spills beer on floor* *Wipes it up with your own shower towel*
9. *Forgets headphones but is already in library*
10. *Never stops eating the cheesy bread even though you promised yourself you would*
11. *Is physically sore from walking around campus*
12. *Gets super motivated and inspired to try
new things but never follows through*13. *Misses going to target 4 times a week for college stuff*
14. *Sink doesn't stay on for more than 2 seconds*
15. *Loves when your new friends comment on your social media*
16. *Uses duct tape to keep mattress pad in place*
17.*Sunday* "I'm not drinking until Friday, I'm skipping Wine Wednesday and Thirsty Thursday"
18. Ya right that's not gonna happen
19. *Shows new friends your high school friends Snapchat stories of how sick their college is*
20. *Bends over to grab shampoo out of shower catty and butt bumps the bathroom wall*
21. “Can my boyfriend come over”
22. My Friends: “Which one?”
23. "Let's pierce our ears tonight"
24. "Why am I on tinder?"
25. "My professors are so cool"
26. "Yeah I'll let you follow me on finsta since you seem weird like me."
27. "She's so hot wtf"
28. "He's so hot wtf"
29. "I have to shit"
30. "It smells like weed"
31. "I can't tell if the RAs don't care or if they are just oblivious that every girl that carries around a plastic water bottle around every weekend"
32. "I don't really mind having 2 friends right now"
33. "Can I borrow some socks?"
34. "If I order new clothes online today will they come by Friday?"
35. "UGH WHY ARE YOU SO HOT?"
36. "I feel prettier in a hat."
37. "Why is there hair all over the shower walls?"
38. "I hate all of these cords in my room"
39. "I swear I’m cool, be friends with me"
40. "I should really go to the gym today"
