Chris Bailey. Some recognize the name because they've had him come evaluate their home for foundation problems, but that's only a select few. And now, because of his decision to take action, over 23,000 people know his name. Because of his choice to step out of his comfort zone and not just sit behind a computer screen using a hashtag, people are coming together and spreading love in a world so full of hate.
It's the elephant in the room, honestly. People know that there's violence and hate in this world, but they're too scared to do anything about it or feel as if they won't make a difference. If at the end of this article you still feel like your one voice can't make a difference, then please just keep re-reading it until you see what one person can do.
Here's the story of why Chris started what is now a global movement called "Everybody Love Everybody".
And now 23,000+ followers on a Facebook page later, this story is making global news.
It doesn't just stop with Chris. This Facebook page is full of people sharing pictures of themselves holding signs saying "Everybody love everybody". Because as Chris emphasizes, we must take ACTION. Hashtags can raise awareness, but until we take matters into our own hands, nothing will be solved. The amount of love that's being poured into this page is overwhelming and so exciting.
There are t-shirts and other merchandise being made and all of the profits will go towards helping the homeless, the families of fallen officers, and helping provide Christmas to underprivileged kids. Just go to www.everybodyloveeverybody.net and check it out!!
When the whole world is saying your voice won't be heard, or that you can't change the world, just think of Chris. Think of this story. So go out there, get your sign, and help spread the love. Lord knows we need some positivity in this world.
And lastly, thank you, Chris. Thanks for showing us that our voice does matter. Thanks for teaching us to step out and be bold. And thank you for taking that first step and starting this amazing and wonderful movement.
The world needs more people like Chris.
