College students go through some pretty traumatic things during their school year. So what's a better show to relate it to than Grey's Anatomy, the most traumatic show on modern day television? If you love Grey's Anatomy, or just want to know you aren't alone in this traumatic journey called "college life," you will love this.

Okay, no one is dying and not many people are leaving except the friends and family that you leave at home or the ones that go off to different colleges, but everyone is stressing and crying.

The "Freshman 15" is completely real and not at all fun, but it happens to the best of us.

Everyone is looking for their life-long best friend in college, but it doesn't always happen. So don't try and force it. *Cough, cough Cristina*

There's at least a couple times in a semester when you wake up at 8:20 and have an 8:30 class on the other side of campus.

You may not like your roommates, but you do live with them, so you have to try your best to get along with them.

There is always that one person in your class that just talks way too much and annoys everyone.

The first week of school is scary. You think you're alone and will never make friends, but it will change and you will have fun.

People are having sex, a lot of it. College students will hump anything that breathes. Don't do it, find someone who wants you long term, not just for the night. Old-fashioned romance is good!

Even if you're grumpy and serious all the time like Bailey, or if you're happy 24/7 like Kepner, your day will be made when your professor cancels class.

We are all Cristina at least once a semester. Mental breakdowns are very common among college students.

Making that phone call to your parents letting them know you failed a quiz/exam...

Sometimes after a long day of school, you need your friends and a drink. It's okay.

Midterms and finals aren't fun, and studying is the worst part. Staying up all night with six coffees and some Monsters is the way to conquer it, you can do it!

Going to class without makeup is fine, hell, go to class in your pajamas! No one cares what you look like, the fact that you showed up to class is more than you can say for some others.

You will enter college with a certain plan for your life and you will leave with a completely different plan.

Losing yourself, not knowing what you're doing in life, and questioning if you can even handle college are all thoughts that go through a college student's mind during a semester...

...but don't worry, things will work out in the end. You will get your shit together.

There's always a McDreamy and/or a McSteamy. Enough said.

Dancing is the best therapy. Whether you are in your dorm room by yourself with headphones in or if you're with your friends jamming out on a stereo. If you have yet to try it, highly recommend.

Last but not least, take advantage of everything college has to offer. This is the time where you find out who you are and what you want to do with the rest of your life. Dream, act, succeed, because you are capable, and you can do it!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
