10 Best Energy Drinks For Those Late-Night Study Sessions

I used to have so much energy all the time. I never even understood why people drank caffeine, let alone why there was such a market for it. But then college came, along with an autoimmune disorder, and I found myself scraping for energy. Fortunately, I found that energy in energy drinks. So, from a girl who has to drink them on the daily, here are the best ones there are.

Rockstar: Marshmallow

At number one, we have 300 mg of caffeine that tastes exactly like a marshmallow, but with no sugar. Heaven in a can.

Bang: Candy Apple Crisp

If you like artificial green apple, like the new green skittles, this is perfect. It's tangy and sweet, but with no sugar. However, this 300 mg drink falls short of Rockstar's Marshmallow because I don't recommend drinking it for more than two days in a row.

Rockstar: Tangerine Mango Guava Strawberry

These flavors remind me a smoothie, which I love, but the caffeine is lacking a little at only 240 mg. Don't get me wrong, that's fine, but somedays, you just need that 60 mg more.

Bang: Birthday Cake Bash

Why does this taste like I'm drinking birthday cake? As the first energy drink I ever had, it holds a special place in my tastebuds. It's 300 mg of caffeine, and it's great for celebrations when you're gluten free and can't eat the cake!

Bang: Pina Colada

I'm convinced you could alcohol to this and sell it as a 4-Loko type of the classic cocktail. Also 300 mg of caffeine, 10/10 would recommend.

Rockstar: Cotton Candy

At 300 mg of caffeine, this drink doesn't take like cotton candy, but it tastes really dang good. I use this one to replace marshmallow when I need something sweet, but not fruity.

Bang: Cherry Blade Lemonade

It's almost like cherry lemonade, but a little too artificial. This 300 mg of caffeine drink is the start of the less than perfect (but still great) energy drinks.

Bang: Purple Guava Pear

I love this 300 mg drink, as long as I don't have it with anything else. For example, it tastes disgusting when I drink it along with cereal, but it's amazing on its own.

Bang: Black Vanilla Cherry

This tastes exactly like Dr. Pepper with less fizz and way more caffeine. If you love Dr. Pepper as much as I do, this 300 mg drink will hit the spot.

Bang: Rainbow Unicorn

I don't know what this 300 mg of caffeine drink tastes like, but I was surprisingly pleased when I tried it. My boyfriend, however, hated it, so this might just be a me thing.

Honorary Mention -Rockstar: Whopped and Blended Strawberry

This is easily the best tasting of every drink I listed, but it missed my main list because it has only 100 mg of caffeine, and 64 g of sugar, making it the most problematic of all my favorite flavors.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
