It's hard to believe the end of the semester is coming up already. The work is probably starting to pile up by now and before you know it, it will be time for finals. I'm sure most of us aren't ready for this in our lives right now.

But no matter what phase of the end of semester blues you're in, there are a few things all college students can relate to at this point. Who better to explain this to us than Dance Moms?

You feel the inevitable existential crisis that come with all the stress.

It's going to happen at some point, just you wait.

You'd rather be doing anything else but school work.

Literally ANYTHING.

Your teachers think it's okay to give big assignments at the same time.

It's like they all have some kind of conspiracy that on the last week of April everything will be due at the same time!

You're probably broke at this point and begging your parents for money.

Your mom really doesn't want to hear that you spent all your money on food but at this point she can't justifiably cut you off.

You're totally detached from watching your life crumble in front of you.

You've just kind of accepted it and this point so all that's left to sit back and watch.

You try to have fun and ignore the fact that you're dying on the inside.

When you go out with your friends you're smiling but you're trying to hide the fact that you completely forgot to study for the big test tomorrow.

You contemplate dropping out multiple times.

You've probably already come up with your speech of how you're going to tell your parents, you just can't face their disappointment.

You dread getting back the grade for that big assignment.

More than likely you did it at the last second or put in minimal effort. There's no way you did well on this and you're already prepared to fail this class.

You're ecstatic when you get a good grade on that big assignment.

So you actually did really good on it and you're relieved that you don't have to explain to your parents why you failed...until the next one.

You feel the pressure of finals coming up.

You can't put it off any longer, finals are almost here and you actually have to start studying.

You tell yourself that you're going to survive somehow.

There are only a few weeks left. You can't give up at this point. Some way or another you're going to make it through this.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
