End Of An Error

Obama's terrible presidency is coming to an end.

End Of An Error

On January 20th, Donald Trump will be sworn in as the 45th president of the United States of America. I am not all too excited that Trump is coming in, but I am very much pleased thaat Obama is on the way out. Obama has lied his way through two terms and then lied on his way out during his farewell address. Obama does not deserve a thank you. He needs to be shown the door, because the sooner he leaves, the sooner we can get to work. Let's go through his "Legacy".

Responsible for the weakest economic recovery in American history

Obama loves to brag about how he got us out of a recession and helped create this thriving economy. All of that is true except for being completely false. Barry has had a record number of quarters where economic growth has been two percent or lower, labor force participation was brought down to a 40 year low, and there has been a decline in business startups and investment thanks to the administration's heavy regulations. Those examples are just a fraction of his damaging policies.

Obama's foreign policy has been disastrous

Obama has successfuly weakened America's foreign image over the last 8 years. The Obama administration has lied to us about the Iran deal and they have constantly been against Israel. We also should not let his administration forget what happened in Benghazi. Obama has not performed well on the foreign stage.

Race relations are worse now than what they were eight years ago

Obama could also be described as "The Great Divider" for how much he has been able to push the victimhood mentality and demonize cops. Obama has had a poisonous rhetoric, infecting our society. Polls show that Americans believe that race relations have gotten worse even though Barry stated otherwise. Two racist and hateful groups emerged under his two terms, that would be Black Lives Matter and the Alt-right. Obama has been race baiting his entire presidency, even inviting other race baiters like Deray to the White House.

Obama has been against the values that founded this country. He has lied his way through 8 years of scandals even though he has claimed to be scandal free. The change he has brought us has been awful, and I have not even discussed the dumpster fire that is Obamacare. Obama needs to pack up and get out, because America needs to get to work on repairing the damage he has done. He can kiss all of his so called "progress" goodbye.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
