After waiting for four years, the day has finally come. It's the feeling of relief knowing that you actually made it through. You accomplished the tests, projects, teachers and homework. It has been four years that you will always remember and now it's all over. This chapter of your life has ended and now you are embarking in new waters. But your emotions are all over the place on graduation day...starting with your mom crying because you are fixing to leave, so of course, that causes you to cry too!
1. You start off super excited, but just ready to get it over with.
This day has been awaited for way to long! The day is finally here and you couldn't be any more excited, but you have gone to too many luncheons, tea and graduation parties. At this point you are just ready to get it over with.
2. Then, the nerves begin to kick in.
You begin realizing that you are about to receive a diploma from high school! You are about to walk across a stage as your name is being called out. You shake your principal's hand, take a picture and bam! It's all over. The nerves are making your stomach hurt from knowing how many people will be watching you–what if you trip, what if your hair is messed up or what if you accidentally use the wrong hand to shake your principal's?
3. Then you are finished & so happy it's all over.
You can finally sit down without reminding yourself to sit up straight, make sure your legs are crossed and you have on lip gloss. You can finally breathe and know that a camera isn't on you!
4. But then you realize you will never see some of these people ever again. You are in shock that it's all over.
It's an exciting time, but sad also. Some of your classmates with move away, and go for a college diploma, or some will being working. Everyone is going in a different direction.

But it's ok. Eventually things have to end. People move on and new chapters start. You will make plenty more friends and tons of new memories.
