Last night our favorite characters got together to celebrate their awesomeness. The pow-wow, also known as The Emmy's, aired on ABC around the same time I consider it socially acceptable to go to bed. In case you missed it, here is what you need to know:

Jimmy Kimmel hosted.

Kit Harington proposed to Adam Samberg.


Game of Thrones slayed for the 38th time making it the most decorated show.

The Stranger Things cast handed out sandwiches.

Amy Schumer reminded us why we love her.

Jill Soloway called upon us to "topple the patriarchy". #yassss

Mr. Robot aka Rami Malek surprised himself and viewers alike and took home a shiny statue.

Tom Hiddleston appeared to be doing okay without Taylor Swift.

Tori Kelly performed, moving us to tears.

American Crime Story: People vs Oj dominated all categories.

Staying up was totally worth it. Until next year...
