She sits in the solitude pondering over the path that once held promise, now littered with the charred ashes of her unfulfilled dreams. Her arms embrace a tear stained Bible, trying to hear the still small voice that was drowned out by the lies she believed. Another sunset vanishes into the horizon, unmasking the night skies, as the stars emerge from their slumber. Gazing down from the heavens, they catch their reflection in the hopeful eye of their beholder. Her breath that once overlaid the frosted windowpane, now seized within her bosom with expectancy. Her heart is ablaze with a fervent desire, but her hands are devoid of a remedy. She awaits, night after night, searching the darkness for a ray of hope to dash across the heavens.
My Dear Friend, Don't lose hope. You will find what you're looking for, in Him. "For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal."2 Corinthians 4:16-18
