BASIC LADIES AND GENTLEMEN REJOICE. Your favorite season is finally here.
The first official day of autumn was a few weeks ago, but the warm temperatures and late sunsets still had me feeling stuck in the summer mode. Now, the temperature is just slightly starting to drop, and universities are starting to have their fall breaks. I feel like now it is finally appropriate to get excited about the change of seasons. Despite my love for summer vibes, I have to admit that there is something about transitioning into autumn that can be just as satisfying.
Everyone goes crazy about fall. You see it in store decorations, advertisements, social media, etc. Sometimes the love for fall is even a smidge over the top, if we're going to be honest. I could write an article bashing everyone for shoving the "fall feels" down our throats, but I'm not going to. Fall is a cozy, warm, snuggly time, and I can't help being sucked right into the hype.
It's 100 percent okay to be basic and get excited about fall.
So, if you're one that gets fed up with everyone's seasonal cheer, try to do your best to repress your autumn-Ebenezer-Scrooge-side and just embrace the ambiances of fall. In fact, you should even try partaking in the festivities; own your urge to go crazy about this beloved season.
