I have been an Elton John fan for most of my life, but after going to see Rocketman, I started listening to his music nonstop. Here are 10 songs you need to be listening to. Songs are listed followed by the album that they are from. Note that many of the .GIFs are from the movie.

1. "Take Me To The Pilot" - Elton John

No one really knows what this song means, but it's catchy and fun and that's what matters!

2. "Don't Go Breaking My Heart (feat. Kiki Dee)" - To Be Continued...

A classic. If this isn't already on your road trip playlist, you better add it.

3. "Crocodile Rock" - Don't Shoot Me I'm Only The Piano Player

This song was used in one of the most iconic scenes of "Rocketman" and for good reason. You can dance and sing to it all day long.

4. "Are You Ready For Love" - The Complete Thom Bell Sessions

So catchy and so fun. Perfect for driving around with the windows down.

5. "Bennie And The Jets" - Goodbye Yellow Brick Road

A song about a fictitious band that's said to be satirical of the music industry in the 70's. An Elton John classic that's perfect to sing along to.

6. "Honky Cat" - Honky Chateau

A song about being torn between fame and a simpler life. Catchy and fun to sing along to, even if it's not good singing.

7. "I'm Still Standing" - Too Low For Zero

This song is great for after a break up, but works just as good for a long road trip.

8. "Tiny Dancer" - Madman Across The Water

Everybody knows this song and it's perfect to sing along to on a road trip.

9. "Funeral For A Friend/Love Lies Bleeding" - Goodbye Yellow Brick Road

This song might be 11 minutes long, but you'll be jamming along for all 11 minutes and 7 seconds.

10. "Your Song" - Elton John

Elton John's first hit and a song almost everyone knows.

11. (Bonus) "Young Dumb & Broke (feat. Khalid)" - Recorded At The Colosseum, Caesar's Palace, Las Vegas

I don't really know if this counts as an Elton John song, but at least it's fun to listen to. You'll probably like Khalid's version better, but this is definitely worth a listen.

These are some of my favorite Elton John songs. I hope that this will inspire you and interest you in seeing "Rocketman", the new biopic about Elton John! I've been listening to Elton John since I was a little girl and seeing his rise to fame through the movie was definitely a different perspective than what I expected. He was known for the outrageous costumes and fun glasses, but there is so much more to his story. I hope you enjoy these songs!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
