I'm a girl who is obsessed with sitcoms, and this summer I've been on a major "New Girl" kick. Not only is it hilarious, but it also gives its viewers some great life advice.

It is bound to happen: people will hurt you and let you down. But like Cece said, you don't stop trying, you keep going and eventually come out on top. You can't let a setback hinder you from doing great things.

In the moment when you are feeling hopeless and feel like that it's just too hard to deal with your current problems, you will see it best to just run away from them. But they will follow you and you will also run into more and they will keep piling up. It's hard. I know, but if you deal with your problems, then in the end you will be able to have relief.

There will be moments in life when you will be scared about a possible outcome or about getting too close to a person and being hurt, but that's completely okay. Don't pretend that you aren't scared and just let it be. Everybody gets scared; it's part of this wonderful thing we call life. You just need to find a person to confide in about your feelings.

It's part of what makes each and every one one of us unique.
If we were all "normal," then life wouldn't be as adventurous.

Having to be at work at 10:30 on a Saturday
morning is the absolute worst. So cherish those Saturdays when you can sleep
in and relax even if it’s just three hours. As we get older the responsibilities
and priorities pile on, and Saturday will become the day we get everything we
couldn't do during the week done.

Breakups are tough; Jess has the right idea. We all have
that one movie that we have on repeat after a breakup for a day or two. It is a
part of life, and it is how we cope with the sadness and try to move on from it.

You are going to run into people who for whatever reason
just don't like you, but you have to be respectful of the differences and work
with them on a daily basis. Don't change your style or who you are because
someone doesn't like it. Be true to yourself, but also understand that sometimes other
people just won't like you and you won't like others as well. The key to this is
to stay on friendly terms.

Music makes a huge difference. It allows us to understand
and express our emotions when we can't find the words ourselves. Sad? There's a
song for that. Extremely cheerful? A song understands that feeling well. Music
allows people to come together and be social. It allows people to talk about
their insights and takes from a certain song and allows everybody to see
different perspectives.

I enjoy shows that have a little bit of everything--humor, drama, sometimes serious aspects and situations actually connect to real life.
