Research Findings
Research Question 1: Are these educational mobile applications beneficial to younger literacy learners?
I did find that these specific apps were helpful to young literacy learners. All of the apps were designed to help students read better. Since my two participants did score significantly higher on my post-test, I do think that these apps are beneficial to young literacy learners, as long as they are modeled how to use them first.
Discussion
It was important for me to do this research because technology is becoming a huge part of all of our lives, especially for younger students who are learning how to read and write. Teachers need to be able to explore what’s out there for teaching. Doing this will take a lot of work. Choosing the correct apps to use for students is important. If choosing the work app, the students won’t learn anything. However, if you choose a really educational and fun app, the students will want to play all the time. The apps that I chose did work for me and my participants. They liked the apps, and it helped them in reading sight words. I was very impressed with my students and the results of my study.
Below are just certain things I used for my research, just in case it piques any of your interests! Obviously, if you every do anything like this, make it your own and choose your own apps and survey sites, etc. I hope you found all this research as interesting as I did.

Hey Brothers,
I'm working on a research project for one of my classes, and I need feedback from other people. I have created a survey on the use of Wordplay Apps, such as Scrabble, Words With Friends, etc. Please help me out and take my super short survey!
