Everything I Would Do Durning A Zombie Apocalypse

Always think ahead even if it is about an apocalypse.

Watching The Walking Dead has always made me think what happens if there was actually a zombie Apocalypse? What the hell would we even do? Zombies appear in almost every movie and TV show so I have learned a thing or two by watching. I have watched all of the successes and fails each character has made.

The first thing I would do is try to get ahold of my immediate family. They have always been there for me so I would try to be there for them. I would find a car with enough gas to get me outside of the city. The cities have the most amount of people so that is where all of the zombies would be. I would always stay away from grocery stores and Costco because people would be fighting over water and food. Once I got enough guns, food, and other essentials I would drive my family into the country.

As soon as we got there I would make sure we block up all the windows and doors keeping anything from going in and out. Then put blankets over the windows so the light would not shine through to attract the zombies. Obviously there would be no heat or electricity so we would have to search the house for candles, matches, and blankets to keep warm. Then we would look for more food in the house to try to stock up. Then we would have to count and see how much amo we have and how much we can use per day. We would all sit around the table and eat trying not to think about the outside world. My family and I would try to keep busy doing anything and everything to keep our mind off.

The first day we would have to make rules. Who does what and when. We would all have to be on the same page in order to survive. All of us would have to make the chores what we do inside and outside of the house. Like who does the laundry, who would keep watch when others are sleeping, and who would go out hunting. All of the little things matter during an apocalypse. Then we would talk about if we ever would get attacked or even separated we would have a meeting place.

In the mornings we would explore what is around us. Someone would always stay at the house protecting what we have. Someone would always be by the radio trying to listen and contract others to see if other people are alive. Durning the day we have to go hunting or fishing because we know one day we will run out of food.

Every week we would move to a new house just in case people were following us. The last thing you would want to do is to run into someone and make a new enemy. Yes, we would try to help others but brining in too many people can be dangerous.

Obviously we would have to survive each and everyday. Try to stay calm and be grateful for what we have.

Hopefully this day will never come but if it does I have it planned.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
