After I turned 21, I didn't know where to start drinking first. Of course, I hit the bars but I didn't know where to get my booze on next. I looked up places near and far to come up with this list. I haven't made it to every one of these places yet but I've got plenty of time to check each of these places off my checklist. If you're about to turn 21 or recently have, be sure to check out all of these places that serve and have a drink for me!

1. Bowling alley

What could be better than a fun game of bowling and a couple beers with your pals? I've had a blast at the bowling alley with drinks and without.

2. Restaurant

While having a meal you can order any drink you want, even the ones with alcohol!

3. Hotel

Bored in a hotel room? Go check out the mini fridge, hotel bar or call room service and get yourself some drinks!

4. Bar

Obviously, the best part about being 21 is being able to get drunk at the bars with your friends!

5. Wedding

When toasting to the happy couple you'll be able to raise a glass of wine, champagne or any alcohol you want.

6. Zoo

Drinking with adorable animals all around you? Sounds like the best day ever!

7. Casino

Check out some casinos and legally drink and gamble too!

8. Wine tasting

Drinking different types of wine all day? Sign me up!

9. Brewery

Check out a brewery near you and taste various different types and flavors of beer.

10. Amusement park

Many amusement parks serve alcohol like Six Flags, some areas in Disney parks and some locations of Sea World.

11. Sports games

Watch your favorite sports team and get a little buzzed at any of the stadiums or fields that serve alcohol.

12. At home

My favorite part about being 21 is being able to buy alcohol at the grocery or liquor store and have a drink after a long day!

13. Family dinner

When family comes to dinner you'll be able to drink with your parents, grandparents and all your other relatives.

14. Art studio

There are many places around that you are able to drink and paint a canvas or make some other type of craft. A few of these places are Pinot's Palette, Paint Nite and Wine and Canvas.

15. Camping

Having a couple drinks while out in the wilderness around the campfire is another perk of turning 21.

16. Concert

Turning 21 means you can buy drinks at a concert to get a little buzzed and vibe to some music.

17. Vacation destinations

Take a load off on your vacation with a couple drinks and enjoy the peace with not a worry in the world!

18. Boat

Chilling on a boat with a drink in your hand sounds like a good time to me.

19. Airplane

While on your flight you can enjoy some drinks as you fly to your destination.

20. Haunted house

There are a few haunted houses in the United States that allow people to drink while they get spooked. That sounds scary and fun at the same time!

21. Booze trolley

Many cities have booze trolleys to show tourists and guests the sites while they indulge in a drink or two.

With all these places to get tipsy there's always somewhere to go. Just remember not to drink and drive!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
