If your'e like me, watching youtube beauty gurus and drooling is a regular thing. Trying to replicate it can be a different story when you don't have the funds for $80 foundation though. As a broke college student who loves makeup, here's a few wallet friendly brands that your face will thank you for.

1) NYX Professional Cosmetics

This brand is affordable, but you do not trade quality for price. Their line is huge and versatile, carrying a variety of every beauty product on the market. Their lippies are a personal fave of mine. They have butter gloss, velvet matte, liquid suede, even cosmic metals to name a few. The best part is that these start at only $5.99. You can find this brand at Ulta (who also runs buy one, get one 50% sales often).

2) Morphe Brushes

Everyone knows having good brushes is half the battle of good application. If your'e anything like me (who can hardly afford the drive through), buying a $45 sigma highlighting brush is a big fat no. With Morphe Brushes you get the same professional feel for a whole lot less. They have hundreds of brushes to choose from, and major beauty gurus like Jaclyn Hill stand behind this brand( who has a discount code, holla!) Another unexpected plus? Their eye shadow. Super pigmented, buttery, and at 35 shadows for $20 something dollars you'll be slaying the game. You can shop this brand online at morphebrushes.com

3) ColourPop

Did someone say $6 liquid lipsticks?? No, you're not dreaming. This. Is. Not. A. Drill. Pigmented, variety of colors, and under $10? I don't think anything else has to be said. You can shop this brand at colourpop.com

4) L.A. Girl Cosmetics

Most popular for their high coverage concealers, this makeup brand is bae. Coming in plenty of colors, they have your back when it comes to hiding the bags from all nighters or that last minute pimple. Who can argue with that? Also, don't forget to pick up their setting powder to bake that face either! You can find this brand at your local Walgreens.

5) Makeup Revolution

This brand stands out with it's cute packaging and unique ideas. If you start looking at their shadow's and blushes you will discover some really cool dimensional colors. I mean who doesn't want a tie-dye looking blush?? Starting at only $7 you can start collecting this ultra chic makeup. You can shop Makeup Revolution at Ulta Beauty.

6) e.l.f. Cosmetics

You may remember this brand breaking the beauty community with their new brushes not too long ago. They offer staples in every makeup bag starting at only a $1. I always reach for their brow products, brushes, and eyeliner. This brand shows that you don't have to splurge to look good. It also feels pretty dang good to get more than one product for under $10. You can shop this brand at Walmart.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
