Dramatic Quotes You Totally Posted In Middle School

When we were all in middle school, the mystical world of social media took over. For some reason, some of us thought it was a good idea to share every emotion we ever experienced on our status. Looking back through some old quotes, I realized just how dang funny middle schoolers are. So here are some very real dramatic quotes that you know you and your friends posted.

1. Deep song lyrics.

"Can we pretend that airplanes in the night sky are like shooting stars? 'Cause I could really use a wish right now."

"If I lay here, If I just lay here, would you lie with me and just forget the world."

"I was praying that you and me might end up together. It's like wishing for rain as I stand in the desert, but I'm holding you closer than most, 'cause you are my heaven."

2. Life lessons.

"Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass. It is about learning to dance in the rain."

"When life gives you a 1,000 reasons to cry give yourself 1,000 reasons to smile!"

"You spend your entire childhood wanting to be older, but now that you are older you want to be young again."

"You have three choices in life... Give in, give up, or give it all you got."

3. Love.

"We may not have control of other people's actions, but we have control of our own and that means making our own choice even if it means giving up on someone else."

"Some people think holding on makes you stronger, but sometimes the hardest thing is letting go and moving on."

"Life's too short for boys who lie."

4. Friendship.

"It stings when you get water in a cut. It burns when you accidentally burn yourself. But when a best friend stabs you in the back nothing compares to the pain."

"Truth is we should be friends. You're so pretty." (I know this isn't a real quote, but you know you wrote it at one point!)

"School is about finding your bridesmaids, not your husband."

This extremely embarrassing photo pictured above is good evidence that we all fell victim to bad photo edits and cheesy quotes. We were pretty intense middle schoolers, but then again middle school sucks, so we deserved to be drama queens.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
