Over the past week or so I have learned how much I am like Elsa and Anna, especially when chocolate is involved. I told myself constantly that I was going to pace myself but really who has self-control anymore? Not me apparently when it comes to Dove Chocolates.
Dove has always been my favorite go to chocolates from the beginning, not because of how smooth and creamy it is (that's a plus though), but because of the life lessons and telling offs you get from the little messages inside.
So this past week, as I shoved chocolate in my face (any other "Frozen" fans just sing that part? No, just me. ok moving on), I wrote down some of my favorites.
1. "Make The First Move."
We live in a modern world. Don't be scared to make that first move, you might just surprise yourself.
2. "Happy Un-Birthday."
It may not be your Birthday today, tomorrow, or the next day but that doesn't mean you can't act like it is.
3. "Lend an ear and some chocolates."
Sometimes, you just have to listen and eat sweets.
4. "Take a moment and enjoy what you have."
I don't know your background and I probably don't know how you live your life, but please stop for a moment, breathe, and be grateful for what you have. Sometimes the great things you experience don't need picture proof because your phone being out may just ruin it.
5. "Kiss and tell."
For once let someone know whats happening in your life.
6. "Give someone a compliment."
If you are reading this, just know you are beautiful and you have a pretty smile.
7. "Actually, go to a bookstore."
The smell of a book is my absolute favorite. You can't get that smell from a tablet.
8. "Make all food finger food."
All food is finger food when you're a toddler, so act like one!
9. "Solve arguments with a dance off."
30-second dance party and...GO!
10. "Share something offline."
Dove is really trying to tell us something.
11. "Revive the art of conversation"
In the generation of Millenials, we have lost touch with people. A conversation with us is text messages, snap chats, DMs, but really it's not. Go talk to somebody personally and find out about the people you go to school with or a family member you lost touch with.
Social interaction is something we lack these days and it's time to show the older generations we do still care about how things used to be in some ways. We are the generation of technology growth but we sure as heck act like we can't live without it.
PS: we can.
