In wake of the recent events in Texas and Minnesota, my spirit is disturbed. All lives matter, but to place blame on a movement is utterly crazy. I have family member who I was just informed who suppose to be at this peaceful protest and who is a former Dallas Policeman, but decided at the last minute not to attend. It still amazes me how people can say that the Black race needs to have more self control when it comes to law officials, but won't look at the bigger picture of what would make a law official pull a gun on an unarmed man because he was allowed to sell CD's in front of a corner store. And this situation where a Black man informed the officer that he had a registered gun and shot him 4 times and stood over him while he bled to death inf ront of a 4 year old child. And when his girlfriend was recorded he states, "I told him not to move." And she replied, "No sir you asked him for his license and he told you that he has a register gun." I truly believe that if he was going to shoot the officer in question, he wouldn't inform him of the weapon. If I was planning on committing a crime (which I'm not), I would inform or let you know what I'm planning on doing.

Now I believe it's a double standard when crime happens in a community and officials tell us to call into a number and inform them what happen anonymously, but there isn't a number for dirty law enforcement official to report there fellow man. All law officials aren't evil, crooked or trying to have a "Kill Bill" movement. We have to be accountable for wrong and right because if we don't the blood of others is on our hands. If African Americans have to be responsible for their actions so should people who are hired to protect and serve.

It's a sad day when people who were born in the era of the 1950's state that this is way worse when they were growing up in America. I should be in fear when I go out; if will make it home to tell my mother where I love her. I shouldn't have to look over my shoulders every time I leave my house because people are self-centered and evil. The main point is stupid and ignorant people with weapons harm people, it's not the weapon it is the person behind the weapon who is dangerous.
