I don't want to go back to school. Yes, you've heard this a million times from kids, but with college students it's a little different--especially because we made the decision to further our education and it's not mandatory... And as much as I love my college campus and great friends, I just don't want to. You're probably thinking that it's because I am enjoying the sweet summertime, but I think there is more to it than that.
Here are a few reason that I just don't want to go back to school:
1. Because school
No one wants to go to school but sometimes we have to in order to do the job we want to do in the future. College is hard.
I always thought college would be better when it came to mean people--but I was wrong. College is a lot like high school, only everyone is a lot older. Not everyone is like this; sometimes you do meet some really awesome people.
3. Waking up gets harder and harder
In high school, we had to get up way earlier than we do in college (for the most part). So why is waking up in college so much harder? Maybe it's the late night Netflix watching or the homework stacked a mile high that needs done before the next morning. Either way, waking up is the worst and naps are cherished.

I don't want to grow up. Having responsibilities and errands to run isn't the life; being young was the life. Now I'm a college student, broke and in debt. Could I just go back to being 6 please?
5. Being home is way nicer
Even if we don't want to admit it, we love being home. Being around old friends and your parents again is really nice. You get to hang out with some people that you don't get to while you're at school and being home means mom and dad can take the responsibility back.
Of course, being a college student has its perks. But for right now, I want those perks to wait a little longer because I'm not quite ready to go back to school. Sorry, college.
