I’m sure not everyone knows where he or she is going yet. Actually, I’m pretty sure no one really knows.

People always ask, parents and relatives mostly, “What are you going to do after college?” or when you go to job interviews you always get the good old, “Where do you see yourself in 10 years?” Frankly, who knows? How can you even tell?

This is the thing: how can you know where you are going to be in 10 or even four years? I don’t even know where I will be tomorrow. Life should be about adventure and doing what you really want, not what someone told you to do, or what the ‘academic planning session’ has you doing. I mean, take the path if you must, some peoples' fate runs on the path given, but most of us choose the path less traveled. I’m not saying go quit your job and see the world, even though that would be great, I’m just saying that it's okay to not know where you're heading. You can be a college student, you could be working nine-to-five. Things change, people change.

I have no idea where I’m headed; my mind has been in about seven different directions since I had my morning coffee. I already changed my major and I’m in my first semester. I love college, but I’ve been homesick for the past month. I don’t like to doubt, but it's been happening a lot. But I’m pretty sure it’s okay.

I think it's okay not to know where you’re going. Maybe that the fun in everything, the not knowing. Look at Elizabeth Gilbert, the author of "Eat, Pray, Love." She didn’t have a clue where she was going; she just went. Now she has a movie and wrote all these books making millions of dollars. Like I said before, this article isn’t to make you get up from what you are doing and buy a plane ticket — don’t be irresponsible. I just want to make you and everyone else aware that a lot of us don’t know where we are headed. We shouldn’t be pressured to figure it out either. Maybe you think you want to be a doctor now, and then you find yourself loving photography. It’s okay. Don’t stress.

You're not alone.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
