I see many people judging individuals based on the choices that they have made in their lives. Is it right to judge someone for a choice that will make them happy? I see it in my life everyday in all aspects of it. The point is that it's unfair to judge somebody for something that does not apply to the person making judgements. How would you feel if someone told you how to live your life? Judging someone is basically the same thing as telling them that their choices in life will get them nowhere. Nobody has a right to judge anyone unless they have walked in that person's shoes.

I have seen many individuals judge others based on their sexuality. A person is a person no matter who they are attracted to. If a man likes another man or woman likes another woman then that should be allowed. Allow people to be attracted to whoever they want. The reason many judge homosexuals is because many have not walked in the shoes of someone who has those feelings. What if someone said you couldn't love a person that made you happy? How would you feel? I'm not a homosexual. I don't feel what a homosexual male feels towards another man, but just because I don't feel that way doesn't mean I should make people with those feelings feel bad for their life choices.

Another thing I see is people judging others based off appearance. Just because a girl or guy is a little overweight doesn't mean they should be completely overlooked. Looks are not everything. Just because someone might not look like a supermodel does not mean they are ugly. A good heart and good personality lasts a lifetime, looks go away in a few years. I'm a decent looking guy. I'm in alright shape for my age and weight, but I don't judge others appearances. I don't judge appearances because I know there are things that certain people have that I don't.

I'm currently in college, I see a daily occurrence of students being judged for the things they are choosing to study. Judged on the fact that they won't find a job or make a lot of money. Why should someone be judged on a field of study that makes him or her happy. Money does not equal happiness. Would you rather have a job that paid six figures, but everyday you are miserable? Would you rather have a job that paid enough, but everyday you are happy as can be? I don't judge people in this category, but this is a category that I am judged on a lot. I am majoring in Outdoor Leadership. I constantly get judged for majoring in this field of study. I don't understand why people judge my career choice, because they don't understand the passion I have for the outdoors.

Don't judge others for the things that make them happy. Don't allows others to judge you for the things that make you happy.

It's your life and you only live once.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
