There is a new movie out titled "Don't Breathe" and it is really catching our attention. Why? Because the entire movie keeps you on your toes.
Before I write this ~review~ I must say, this is a good movie. I watched it twice, back to back.
When I watched the previews, as a communication major, I questioned many ideas I have learned about in my classes: How can this plot hold our attention for the duration of the movie? Who is the antagonist/protagonist? etc.
First, I really wondered how long we could watch the thieves fight a blind man in his home. How many scenes can there really be with this plot?
Second, the trailer tells us the young lady, Rocky, wants to get away from her mother and take her younger sister to a better life. She needs money to do so. Her friends and she decide to rob a blind man's home. Naturally that makes me feel sorry for both Rocky and the blind man.

Rocky and her friends go inside the house after putting the wildly barking dog to sleep and the man doesn't wake up...
But he wakes up later AFTER "Money" (another robber) puts a home-made gas bomb in his bedroom to ensure he is asleep.
He boards up the window they came into the house from, but how does he know what window they came from? He has a lot of stuff in his home to move around to be a really big blind guy. He honestly rarely even bumps into things...
What doesn't make sense at all is the ending.
The blind man's home alarm is set off purposefully by Rocky, and the cops find the man in his home almost dead, but he survives. We find out the information from the news report Rocky is watching in the airport.
Things that would have made police further investigate this scene:
1. There had to of been bullets everywhere and bullet holes in many surfaces.
2. Only one gun on scene belonged to the blind man.
3. There is a prison of pillows and restraints in the basement.
4. The woman who killed his daughter has now been missing for months, the police would 100% search this creepy man's home for her.
5. A jar of the man's sperm is on the counter of the basement... (and a turkey baster on the floor).......
Things that did not make sense in regards to the injuries:
1. The blind man would not have survived the number of times he was hit in the head with the crowbar through the movie.
2. Rocky would have needed medical attention after falling through the ventilation system (to what logically should have been her death).
3. Alex had super strength to save Rocky after having the crap beat out of him a few times.
4. Why didn't the dog bite anyone? Is it a friendly dog?
This movie (injury wise) is the "Home Alone" for adults.... Overall, it was an amazingly scary movie with a great plot, but I still don't get how people live so long.
