I Asked 5 People, If You Had Your Ex In Front Of You What Would You Say?

Many of us ended on good or bad terms with our exes. I asked 5 people what they would say to their exes if they had them in front of them.

All names have been changed to protect the privacy of those who chose to open up and be vulnerable.

Anthony

It's been a year and a half since we broke up. We broke up because he cheated on me.If I had him in front of me I would tell him, he's a worthless piece of sh*t and he has a small package.

Amy

My ex and I dated for almost a year and a half, he just wasn't interested anymore, the relationship felt boring to him so he broke up with me.

If I had him in front of me I'd tell him that he missed out, his loss is someone else's gain and I wish him the best in life.

Alicia

It's been about 3 years since my ex and I broke up. He was in the military, we were going to get married but he ended up telling me that we couldn't get married anymore because he was too jealous and he just didn't like me going out. I always assured him that I loved him and that I wasn't going to cheat on him, but that wasn't enough.

If I had him infront of me I would ask why he picked to marry to the person he's with now, if he ended up being so unhappy.

Andrew

I broke up with my ex girlfriend about a little over a year ago. I broke up with her because our relationship was pretty toxic. It wasn't goof for either of us.

If she were in front of me I'd tell her that I loved her very much but because of the love I had for her is why I broke up with her. It's what was best for us and to this day I still think it was the best thing to do. Although of course I'm very grateful she came into my life.

Andy

My ex and I broke up 4 years ago. We were in a long distance relationship, being 12 hours apart so it was pretty rough. We had trust and communication issues. As much as we tried to make it work, it just didn't.

If she were in front of me I'd tell her it was nice while it lasted. She's a good person and deserves to be with someone that is close to her not 12 hours away from her.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
