During the 2016 campaign, Trump Jr. continuously denied connections with Russia, except for when they, "built condominiums and sold a couple of apartments to some Russians in New York." Trump Jr. and Russia's connection today highly indicate that there was more than just some real estate action going on...
This week's news has been buzzing with information regarding Donald Trump Jr.'s association with Russia, and his June 2016 meeting. Trump Jr. met with Russian lawyer last year in order to receive "damaging information" regarding his father's opponent: Hillary Clinton.
Hard to believe these families were once friends, right?
Trump Jr. recently explained that a member of the Russian government contacted one of his father's former Russian business partners to give him some interesting words ("dirt" as the media is calling it) on Clinton.
The documents were said to give Trump the advantage, and the Russians continued in the email to Trump Jr. with, “This is obviously very high level and sensitive information but is part of Russia and its government’s support for Mr. Trump.”
Trump Jr. responded right away, seemingly excited, saying that he would "love it."
It's quite a dirty game being played in the political world right now, but is it legal? The federal campaign finance says: "knowingly solicit, accept, or receive from a foreign national any contribution or donation ... or other thing of value." Is this said "dirt" about Hillary valuable? Oh, the subjectivity.
Stay tuned to your favorite news channel! Or don't...Either way, you will be sure to hear about the Russian's dirt as soon as more emails are sent to Trump Jr.
